PhotoVerse: News from Enagadget Photography News

Photogrpahy News from Enagadget Photography News, delivered to you by PhotoVerse:

Given the impressive knockoffs and official camera kits we've seen, we'd say the iPad's definitely got the stuff to help out most shutterbugs, but up until now, uploading content from a CF card wasn't exactly easy. Well, our friends over at MIC Gadget recently showed off an iPad / iPad 2-compatible card reader that fixes that on the cheap. Simply called the CF card reader for iPad and iPad 2, the thing slips right into the slate's dock connector port and, as you can see from the video below, it transfers HD video and high-res images in a snap -- it also sports USB connectivity. DIY Compositon Frame

DIY Compositon Frame

DiY Composition FrameThis one's is just a fun little trick, that you may find useful when you don't have your camera around but still want to play photographer, or better yet, director.

It's a DIY 35mm Cropper. that you can use to frame or to wear around tour neck to prove yourself as a true photo geek.

You could buy a fancy version over at ETSY, which is all nice and dandy and copper made, but you can make one your own using an old slide frame.

First, get some old positive slide. Those are getting more and more scarce, so you better hurry.

Prizes include the ultimate trip to Scotland, Nikon digital camera equipment and a 12-month subscription to Digital Camera magazine. The closing date is 29th April 2011.
